Complementing robust research with design to create homes people have reason to value

Design and planning as well as policy innovations beyond architecture per se in this regard builds on earlier advanced research at Cambridge University creating a framework that assesses to what extent housing enables people to live lives they have reason to value.

We work with global researchers and leading companies worldwide towards creating better housing options for lower-income urban households. Our efforts here center on the conceptualization of a home as much more than a commoditised unit of production.

We believe homes have to be seen as a series of valued outcomes that individuals and families can achieve.
